Meet Betina

Betina was rescued as a four month old kitten from a feral colony at a local hospital. She spent 4 months with her rescuer for socialization and learning to trust humans. She is still shy and a little scared, but we see her relaxing more day by day. This observant youngster's favorite spot is on the highest shelf in a room, so she can take in everything around her and enjoy a cozy, long nap. We see her playing with toys and interacting positively with the other kitties.

This kitty is looking for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. With a quiet home, gentle encouragement, and plenty of understanding, she have the potential to blossom into a devoted companion. Watching a shy cat gain confidence and choose to share their affection is one of the most rewarding experiences a pet owner can have.
