If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, Chica is your girl. This sweet 11-year-old has spent her life surrounded by love and is now looking for a new home where she can continue to thrive. It is important to point out that Chica is FIV+. She is very friendly towards other animals, it is unlikely that she would ever bite another cat. Chica can co-exist with other cats, but some adopters may prefer that she remains a solo cat because of her condition. 

Chica is one of the friendliest cats you’ll ever meet. She happily lived with a small dog for seven years and has been wonderfully gentle with older children. While she’s never been around toddlers, she quickly warms up to kind, calm kids and will let them give her pets once she knows they’re safe.

Her favorite thing? Curling up on your lap or beside you for cozy snuggles. She loves back and chin rubs and greets visitors with quiet curiosity and a soft heart.

Chica is healthy (except for FIV+ diagnosis), easygoing, and incredibly sweet. She’s spent her life knowing only love and deserves a peaceful, affectionate home where she can keep sharing her gentle spirit.
